I am an illustrator and visual artist who enjoys working with traditional mediums such as oils, pastels, ink, and watercolors. I am experienced with combining different mediums and creating work that is uniquely tactile and gritty. I lean primarily toward concepts and creative outlets that induce deep thought and introspection.
I specialize in line art, patterns, and styles that rely heavily on thick line weight, variegated lines, and alternative shading techniques. My sharp, gritty American comic style blends vintage and cartoon illustration styles along with surreal backgrounds and landscapes. In addition, my symbolic and geometric tattoo designs bring my work into a very human realm. My goal is to highlight expressive, somewhat brazen stories that explore real-world truths and reflect a Christian worldview.
